Classroom Building
Opening in spring 2010, the four-story College of Medicine building features 170,000 square feet of innovation and cutting-edge technology. The new facility will house the Health Sciences Library, Clinical Skills Center, Simulation and Learning Lab, Microscopy and Virtual Lab, and the Anatomy Lab.
College of Medicine will be located on the new 50 acre Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona located about 25 miles south of the University of Central Florida. South of the campus are protected wetlands and uplands. North of the campus is a planned 80+ acre town center with mixed-use retail area. Pedestrian-friendly nature trails connect to nearby residential neighborhoods, retail and entertainment activities, natural areas, lakes, parks, and schools.
