Willed Body Registration Program

Doctors have relied on the study of the human anatomy since the practice of medicine first began. A frequently overlooked area of need is the one addressed by individuals who bequeath their remains to a medical school. Bodies willed to the Anatomical Board of the State of Florida help with research, study and cure of disease, as well as with lessons of anatomy and physiology.

This program allows individuals in the State of Florida to make a difference in a medical student's education. To enroll in the willed body program, please contact the Anatomical Board of the State of Florida. If you would like to have your remains come to a specific medical school in Florida, please indicate that intention on the will form you will complete for the Anatomical Board.
