Giving to the College of Medicine
There are several ways to contribute to the College of Medicine. Whether you choose to fund a scholarship, create an endowment, or donate to the Dean’s Aesculapian Society, you can make a difference in the lives of many future doctors and their patients.
Charter Class Scholarship Program
The Charter Class scholarship program is the first of its kind in the U.S. According to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) the UCF College of Medicine has made medical college history by providing four years’ tuition, fees and living expenses to the entire inaugural class of 40 students.

Continuing Need for Scholarships
We are grateful to those members of the Central Florida community who have funded the scholarships for the class entering in fall 2009. Because we will continue to compete with more established medical schools for the best and the brightest students to attend future classes, there is a continuing need to help students with the cost of medical education.
We encourage contributions from donors who wish to fund scholarships for deserving students into the second and later classes of the M.D. Program. You can support a single student for one to four years – tuition only or tuition and living expenses.
There is also the option of endowing a scholarship (see below) that can live on in perpetuity, helping an untold number of students. Learn more about scholarships.
Dean’s
Aesculapian Society
The Dean’s Aesculapian Society is a special group of benefactors who demonstrate strong dedication to and support of the College of Medicine Members participate in the life of the College, forming the basis of a collaborative effort through their personal involvement and annual contributions to the Dean’s Fund for Excellence. Planned
or Matching Gifts
You can create a lasting legacy and enjoy possible tax benefits through the establishment of one of several types of bequests or planned gifts. The choices involve such vehicles as charitable trusts, gift annuities, sale of property and other advanced estate planning concepts. You and your tax advisor or estate planning consultant can determine which one would be appropriate. Our team of gift planning experts is ready to assist you. Learn more about planned or matching gifts.
Endowments
Endowments are ideal for honoring individuals and perpetuating shared values. You, your family, your company or firm can become part of the history being written by the College of Medicine. These visionary gifts extend support beyond your own lifetime and represent true foresight and concern for future generations. Learn more about endowments or please

Whole
Body Registration Program
Doctors
have relied on the study
of the human anatomy since
the practice of medicine
first began. A frequently
overlooked area of need
is that provided by individuals
who bequeath their remains
to a medical institution.
Whole body donations help
with research, the study
and cure of disease, as
well as with lessons of
anatomy and physiology.
This
program allows donors to
make a huge difference in
a student’s
education.
