Our Facilities
The Health Sciences Library is currently located on the third floor of the University Tower building. The library offers comfortable seating, study carrels, computers, access to electronic and print collections of medical information, as well as help of experienced reference staff. The library is open to all UCF students, faculty, staff, and local community.
As the College of Medicine moves to its new location at Lake Nona, the Health Sciences Library will move as well. At its new location, the library will support our students, faculty, researchers, and staff as well as other health professionals of the growing medical city.
The Health Sciences Library at Lake Nona will be approximately 12,000 square feet and will be located on the second floor of the new four-story Medical Education building. The new state-of-the-art facility will help us to enhance our support of health care, education, and research on Health Sciences campus and in the medical city. The new library will feature small and medium group study areas, reading spaces, computer lab and training room, an information commons as well as periodicals, reference, and special collections.
